Partner links and commissions
Ohrid Watersports publishes local activity information and links to bookable experiences offered by independent providers. Some outbound links and availability widgets are affiliate links, including links to GetYourGuide. We may receive a commission when an eligible booking is completed after you use one of these links.
Affiliate income helps support the research, operation, and development of this Lake Ohrid activity overview. You are free to visit a provider or booking platform independently.
How to recognise a partner booking
A button such as “Check dates & price” or an availability widget may open a third-party website or checkout. Partner links are marked in the page code as sponsored where appropriate. The final page will show the booking service, activity provider, live price, availability, and applicable terms before payment.
How activities are selected
We aim to organise activities by practical factors such as location, activity type, duration, suitability, available details, and traveller feedback. A commercial relationship may affect which products can be linked or measured, but it does not guarantee a positive description or a particular ranking.
Prices, availability, and responsibility
Partner prices, ratings, schedules, meeting points, inclusions, and availability can change. Always check the final booking page before paying. The third-party booking service and activity provider set their own payment, cancellation, refund, safety, age, transport, passport, and border-crossing terms.
When you complete a partner checkout, your booking is made with the party identified on that checkout—not with Ohrid Watersports. We do not process the partner payment or control the provider's delivery of the activity.
Referral and analytics tracking
We may record that a product link was clicked, together with limited context such as the product, campaign, selected shore or activity interest, request identifier, and click time. Booking partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure a referral and attribute a later booking. Their own privacy and cookie notices explain their processing and available controls.
Direct activity enquiries
Some activities are handled as direct availability enquiries rather than affiliate bookings. The page or confirmation message will explain the next step. Sending an enquiry does not by itself reserve equipment, confirm availability, or take payment.
